This all change at the start of the 1960s. In that decade, many companies had begun to mass produce computers from them to use but there was one little problem, software did not come with a mass produced computers, no operating system was made for it yet. Thus they needed a lot of programmers that knew how to make these work and who solve the complicated and complex problems presented.
This revelation started a new love for programmers and the job as a whole. The demand for the services provided by them was accompanied by the steady rise in salary that was made in this job. The popularity of programming had risen and the status and pay for these jobs soon attracted the attention of males for them to learn and apply for these jobs as well.
The gifts of programming is quite vast. As without it, many of the things human beings have now will not be possible without it. Having home computers would just be a dream and there would be not internet because without programming becoming popular as it is, the making of newer software would not be as popular as it is today.
