Although very small and compact, the performance level of this particular laptop is definitely well above acceptable. This computer is all about reliability, especially when using the Intel processor along with the WiMAX mobile broadband processor - this is simply a great computer.

One other great feature is that even though you may use your computer a lot, the LED display backlighting makes it easy on the eyes. Although there are some highlights, a few of the features are modest at best. Although thinner than some lower-priced MacBook computers, is not the thinnest design of all.

Less expensive than more well known brand name laptop computers like Sony, the Protege R705-P35 is a great choice for those on a limited budget. Toshiba is in essence identifying a specific market and providing a product for it. Costing much less than other laptops that have a similar 13 inch LED backlit screen with optical drives, the Protege R705-P35 is designed to last. Exactly who will like this unit? Anyone that travels quite a bit definitely needs a laptop, and the full functionality of this model will remind them of their desktop at home. If you do have a desktop computer, you may switch to using the Protege R705-P35 because it is so similar in regard to capabilities and usability.

All in all, we were quite pleased with the Toshiba Protege R705-P35 Notebook for the relative low price. The strong points greatly outweighed any that may be considered to be weaker points. Totally obvious, this notebook computer is one you should take a look at. It has everything you will need including mobile broadband capabilities, excellent speed, and plenty of storage space.
