Extend Server System Partition
I encountered "low disk space" warning on Windows Server 2003 recently. It's reported that "You are running out of disk space on Local Disk (C:)."
Low "disk space" warning
To be able to notify Windows 2003 administrators when the hard drive is running low on available disk space, low disk space warning is designed by Windows. When the available disk space of a drive is lower than 200MB, the original warning will pop up immediately on Windows 2003. With the available disk space decreases, the frequency that pop-up warnings dialog box on Windows 2003 screen increases. Can you ignore or disable these "low disk space" warnings?
Certainly you can't. When Windows 2003 system partition C: drive is running out of space, then you must do something as soon as possible, otherwise the system performance will deteriorate, and the computer abilities will be negatively influenced. What's worse, if you take no action, you might even suffer Windows 2003 crash which means data loss. Comparatively speaking, the best way to fix this problem is to extend system partition Windows 2003.
