However to be a successful technician needs more than managing workstations. It requires one to acquire the necessary aptitude and attitude that are important to solve an organization's computer problems.

If the team is viewed by the users of the system within the users as been unresponsive or does not take seriously their problem they will be less willing to communicate and hence lose confidence in the team. It is very important that the team have sufficient composure to be respectful even if they are on the receiving end of abuse from frustrated users.

Self-disciplined techs are more trustworthy, dependable, and punctual. It takes self-discipline to see a problem through to its conclusion and provide solutions that are both practical and workable. The self-disciplined tech is also able to meet deadlines, keep adhering to schedules, and delivering solutions in a timely manner without coming up with excuses.

Another sign of a good team is the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, which involves having an intricate knowledge about the function of every employee in the organization. By taking the rank and or function of the employee into consideration, the team is able to prioritize tasks given. All team members have the duty to learn about all the aspects of the organization in order to be better at prioritizing.

Problems with the systems are most likely to happen and one of the important keys to solving them is to be committed and dedicated to finding a resolution. Just about all organizations have set rules and regulations that are to be followed in the resolution of these problems that describe how and when to escalate an issue. The tech team is also expected to follow these rules to the letter.

The team should also pay attention to details, which is a very essential skill for successful completion of any work order. Though resolving a users issue quickly is necessary, it is not sufficient if the problem keeps on recurring. It is prudent that the team member takes time to find the source the problem as well solving it to ensure that the network is safe and secure at all times.

A good technical team should also demonstrate the ability and willingness to communicate with other staff members as they play an important role as the intermediary between the systems and the users. They should posses the ability to communicate in a language that can be understood by anyone without all the jargons in other words they are like translators. This position works both ways from translating computer jargon to human language and human requests into a form or language that the computer will understand.

The IT support Los Angeles team should be willing to share knowledge with other members of staff, superiors, and users. It is also prudent that they understand that they do not have answers to every problem and should know where to go for such help. They also have to be open-minded and ready to learn from formal and or informal instruction.
